Planning Your Visit

If you are one of the 18,000 people who visit the festival every year, you may want to know some important information such as where to stay, how to get around, and some tips and tricks for enjoying the festival! Continue reading below to learn how you can make the most of your upcoming visit.

How To Get Around

Many people drive in from the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) or other places in Southern Ontario. If that’s the case, then you’re free to drive around and use your car as you please.

There is free parking available, so you won’t have to worry about constantly paying for parking.

If you would prefer to leave your car behind or are taking a plane or other mode of transportation to the festival and won’t have a car with you, fear not! There are many local transportation options for you, including:

  • Free Bus Services: A variety of local bus services are free to use during the festival, running from 7am – Midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 7am – 9pm on Sunday.
  • Rock & Roll Express Shuttle Service: The shuttle costs only $5.00 per ride and is available from 10am – Midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 8am – 6pm on Sunday.
  • Courtesy Carts: If you’re ooking for a fun way to get around, you can try the new courtesy carts which will be touring downtown Collingwood and can carry up to 8 passengers. They’re available from 9am – 9pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9am – 6pm on Sunday.
  • Accessible Shuttle Services: There are three available accessible shuttle services – they must be booked 7 days in advance.

Where To Stay

There are many places to stay in Collingwood and the surrounding areas during the event. “Excellent customer service and value for money. My boyfriend and I were trying to find a place for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 2 years and the receptionist was able to help us found a lovely 1 bedroom condo that was only steps away from all the restaurants and activities. The condo itself was clean, well decorated and just what we were looking for. We were also able to get 10% off our booking for making the reservation directly over the phone! Overall, we had a lovely stay and will definitely be coming back.”
