Ski Helmets Becoming More Popular

According to a recent survey by the Canadian Ski Council, more skiers and snowboarders  are wearing helmets.

In 2006, 67.3 per cent of skiers wore helmets, by Dec. 2011 the usage increased to 79.9 per cent.

Canadian Council President Colin Chedore, believes it’s because of various stake holders in the industry educating skiers about the advantages.
