Travellers at Risk of Severe Allergic Reactions Should Take Precautions This Holiday

What precautions are those at risk of severe allergic reactions taking when they travel? According to a recent Ipsos Reid survey of Canadians surveyed at risk of anaphylaxis (or responsible for a child at risk) 69 per cent took at least one of five key health precautions:

• Checking on the airline’s allergy policy;

• Packing their own food when flying;

• Researching their destination for emergency medical facilities;

Bruce County Wine TastingIf your mother-in-law enjoys wine, try taking her to the Bruce County Museum’s 2nd Annual Wine Tasting on July 28th.  Five wines will be sampled; first alone, and then with food, to experience the difference food can make in the flavour of wine.
