We all know that planning for your family trip is a little stressful, especially if you are not sure where to start. We here at Lodges at Blue Mountain know this very well. We have a lot of guests calling us not knowing where to start or how to start planning their trip.
I have taken the time to write down some things I think you should know when booking your trip.

  1. Decide when you want to go.
Knowing exactly what dates you are wanting to go on vacation is key. When booking your stay you want to make sure you have the correct dates. If you are unsure of dates when booking it can make the booking confusing and more difficult. Especially when getting quotes on properties. We absolutely love when you are 100% certain what weekend you are looking for. Though there are times, very rarely that we are booked fully and ask for back up dates.
  2. Decide how long you would like to go for.
Knowing how long you want to go on a trip is definitely helpful.being unsure of how long you want your stay to be can be stressful. Knowing exact dates is what you want. Especially when it comes to pricing.
  3. Research your properties  www.bluemountainlodges.ca
Once you figure out what dates you want, you need to figure out where you want to stay. Lodges at Blue Mountain offers so many different styles of condos and chalets you will more then definitely find your perfect property. We have condos that sleep 4- chalets that sleep 20. We have chalets that are more cottage like to chalets that are prestige modern homes. Lodges at Blue Mountain offers 160 different and unique units that, there is no way you can not find something for you. We will go out of our way to make sure you find your perfect gem.
  4. Book your accommodation
After you find your perfect accommodation, book it. Make sure you book your property right away. Blue Mountain is a very busy tourism area and properties go fast. We always recommend you book as soon as your find the one for you.
  5. Plan your activities
When everything is booked and your reservation is secure. Plan your activities. Blue Mountain Village has so so so much to offer you don’t want to miss out on anything.  We have many blogs about all the different activities within the area. There are certain places that you need reservations, such as the Spas, wine tours and restaurants.
  6. Pack your bag!
Packing my bag is always the hardest for me. I never know that to pack and what the weather is going to be like. I always find it super helpful reading different articles about what to pack for different areas. So be happy, I have covered that as well. Go onto the blog page and look for the blog about what to pack and bring to your condo.
